My adventures into Arts & Crafts started many years ago when I began Card Making. I created bespoke birthday and special occasion cards for my family, friends, and anyone else who wanted something special which they couldn’t find elsewhere. I quickly found that I never made the same style of card twice, and people came back to me over and over again.


I then discovered Linocut and Printing. I became completely hooked on the process of drawing and carving, and along with the eagerness of making the first print from a block of Linoleum. My first project was a Highland Cow which I immediately fell in love with. From then on, I started to make more cards from Lino cutting and larger prints.


Eager for more, further inspiration came during my holidays on the lovely Island of the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom, I started to create Pebble Art. During many long walks along the pristine beaches, I collected unique pebbles, coloured sea glass and various pieces of Driftwood and other flotsam. Each of my one-off creations is custom-made from these beach collections and made to order. No two stones, or lovely shaped pieces of driftwood can ever be the same, because of they way the tidal flow of the ocean creates them,  which makes these creations unique.

 

To enable even more bespoke designs for my paper craft, I purchased a Cricut Die-Cutting machine. This machine takes images and designs of my own, and cuts them onto materials such as paper, card, transfer vinyl, fabric, faux leather, thin wood. I can now create many more personalised items such as:
